24 Chicken Wings
½ tsp. Black Pepper
2 tsp. Garlic Paste
Salt to taste
1 Jar of Pepperwicks BBQ Sauce
2-3 Tbsp. Oil
1 tsp. Chilli Flakes (optional for added heat)
For garnish:
- White Sesame Seeds
- Spring Onion Greens
- Pat the wings dry with a paper towel. Season with garlic paste, salt and pepper.
- Cover and set aside in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the wings on a medium high heat for about 15 minutes or until 90% cooked. Flip occasionally.
- Lower the flame and add in the BBQ Sauce.
- Toss the wings to completely coat them in the sauce (for about 2-3 minutes or until the sauce is thickened and becomes sticky).
- Garnish with sesame seeds, spring onion greens and serve.
- For added heat, add in 1 tsp. chilli flakes when you toss the wings in BBQ Sauce.
- You can also cook these in an air fryer:
- Marinate the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic paste and 2 Tbsp. oil. Additionally, also brush the foil (placed in the air fryer) with oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to the maximum temperature (200ºC). Cook the wings for about 20 minutes, turning them at the halfway point.
- Toss the wings in BBQ Sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until sticky caramelised.
