500 g Vanilla Ice Cream
4 Tbsp. Pepperwicks Burnt Chilli Oil
Handful of Candied Walnuts, chopped
- Scoop the ice cream into a bowl.
- Drizzle some Burnt Chilli Oil on top.
- Add some crushed candied walnuts.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Here’s how you can make candied walnuts at home, you will need:
1 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
¼ cup Sugar
1 pinch Salt
1 cup Walnuts
- Add unsalted butter, sugar and salt to a pan.
- Heat over a medium-low heat until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
- Continue cooking the mixture till it begins to bubble around the edges and changes to a golden amber colour.
- Mix in the walnuts and cook for a minute until they are coated in the caramelised sugar.
- Spread the walnuts out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow the candied walnuts to cool for at least 10 minutes before using.
