½ Tbsp. Oil
100 g Pepperwicks Pizza Sauce
200 g Red Kidney Beans, boiled
1 Mango, chopped
1 tsp. Chilli Flakes
Salt, to taste
Tart Shells, to serve
Cheese, grated (optional)
For garnish:
- Parsley, chopped
- Heat oil in a pan, and add Pepperwicks Pizza Sauce. Toss in the boiled beans and keep mashing them a bit until you get a thick mixture.
- Adjust seasonings with salt and chilli flakes and turn off the heat. Mix in the chopped mango.
- Serve on tart shells topped with grated cheese and parsley.
- 80-85 g of raw beans would give you approximately 200 g of boiled kidney beans.
- You can also use a can of beans instead.
- You can use sev puris / canapes / taco shells as a base instead of the tart shells
- Replace the pizza sauce with Pepperwicks BBQ Sauce for a variation in the Mango Bean Tart.
